Was definitely an April Fool's joke - picked up on about a week late ........... ;)

Well it's not far off/ They do run a hill climb From the chase up to the top at easter (I think) every year.

But if they ran that way Russell would have a go and "bring the sport into disrepute" (vs what the officials and bargwhinger does) everyone would pack up their bat and ball and go home.

I've been going to the Bathurst bikes and cars off and on from around 1973, even raced there in 88 and 94, as a spectator the bike races are down right tame compared to the car races, those dickhead Ford and Holden fans are M A D mad.

Last Bathurst car race for me was 1986, never again:twisted:

This is the plan for 2015-2020 for Ch.10 free to air:

- Six major events – the Clipsal 500 Adelaide, Townsville 500, Wilson Security Sandown 500, Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000, the Gold Coast 600 and the Sydney 500 – live on TEN and simulcast in High Definition on FOX SPORTS.

- Highlights program of every race Sundays at 4pm on TEN, one hour highlights packages on ONE Saturdays and Sundays at 8.30pm, and on TEN on Saturdays and Sundays at 11.30pm.

And that's the end of Motorsport in Australia. Just as it's getting competitive again take it away from the people instead.
