Wind Is starting to pick up a bit but I would still consider it light...ish. The rain is quite steady but conditions are deteriorating. Our turn is yet to come. Finished preparations yesterday, good excuse for a day off. I'm south of Atherton, don't expect we will cop it as bad as those north.
No power since 6:30am, just did a run through town for work still some power in Atherton but don't expect it out here for a while.
I think later this afternoon before we get to dance with ITA.
Lots of water starting to pool, Tinaroo Dam might be full for Easter.
All the pound dogs are eating like kings just in case we lose power to the fridge :D
We are about 10k South of Ravenshoe.
It has rained steadily all night & this morning but just a bit of gusty wind so far.
We will see how it goes tonight. I expect that rain not wind will be our problem.
We are stocked up, have power & the kids are playing board games so we are well off.
Glad no one has been hurt.

Just got called in to work to move on backpackers in one of the council campsites in their tent near Atherton.
They thought the worst had been, and things were all good now. :eek:
Just an up date.
It has been raining here all last night, all today & now it is belting down.
The little creek across our driveway is now a raging torrent, I don't think we will be going anywhere for a day or 2.
We live over looking a lovely creek called the Millstream, this is also now a raging river! Luckily our house is about 20M up a steep hill from it though the view is pretty awesome right now.

Well i guess it was Townsville's turn last night we got a mini cyclone plus a massive amount of rain. power went out early this morning a few trees are down next doors little poxy garden shed is missing a few bits.
And the bastard barn door on the back of my Disco leaked even it was parked under a car port:(
