I have a large gas bottle, if any one wants it. another view of the plough wok, Bob [taken from the net. mine disappeared when we moved north. Good if you have the space to carry them. Although I prefer a camp oven now]

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

I'm seeing these pop up on a few of the facebook camping groups. Here's a video of a smart looking version courtesy of the Batemans Bay men's shed:

    These ****en thingy's are great.
If I was younger and had time to use it, I would make one.
I have a spare out of date gas bottle in me shed.

Ron, if you're ever near Hornsby, the scrapyard there is a treasure trove of good stuff all waiting to be taken away for a song by the inventive.

    G'day, Bacicat,
I made one out of a 200mm strip of stainless for the 'rim' and a round bit out of an old washing machine mesh as the 'bottom' that, when over the roof mounted No.2 spare acts as a tire cover.(Looks like a crashed space ship, so what?)
Legs are three pieces of ss angle about 300mm long.
An 'L' shaped bit of 'reo' slips in one of the angles and has a piece of chain welded to it to hang a kettle or camp oven over the fire.
No photos, as I'm in Bne and the fireplace is in Cooky.
