    Clarkson.

Top Gear isn't live so they can edit out any really offensive bits. He's gonna say what he's gonna say regardless of whether he should or shouldn't which is where the BBC needs to manage the situations appropriately instead of broadcasting it to the general public.

As James May said, "Clarkson is a knob but I like him".

I assume the BBC will fluff about a bit and then renew Clarkson's contract, along with the other two, since I'm sure the BBC doesn't want to jeopardise all that money it earns from Top Gear.

The BBC should certainly be all over the producers to keep anything offensive out of the broadcast show.

Clarkson should be charged with assault and forced through a period of humiliation by having to front a local court and mix with all the people he apparently loves to slag off, particularly the Paki taxi drivers. I'm sure they'll give him a suitable reception - probably take lots of selfies.
Maybe the experience will bring him down to earth a bit.

    This might answer that:

    Two recent items:

Hammond and May reportedly refuse to film without Clarkson

James May and Richard Hammond refuse to film Top Gear without Jeremy Clarkson - Telegraph

and the Australian Top Gear Festival might have a problem without Clarkson.

Jeremy Clarkson suspension puts BBC Top Gear Festival in Australia under a cloud

I wouldn't blame Clarkson if he clocked the bloke who said this:

I saw on the online news this morning that the French version launched with great success. Publicity stunt maybe?

As I read many of these posts , I have a little smile . You can see those that don't like Clarkson , then say they never watch Top Gear . But then say about P/correctness , and that they find this or that offensive ! Am I to believe they have never called anyone some sort of derogatory name . That could be anything , lazy , fat , skinny , useless . The list goes on and on . Any of these terms could be considered offensive to some one . I try not to let something someone I don't know , have never met , that said something to someone else bother me . But that's just me !!..Jim

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
