Would be great to meet you if i'm about. As for tracks, welll realistically i'm only new at the 4wd caper, but I know a few about the place already. I should know of a few more by then :twisted:
We do intend making it to Launceston, Cradle Mountain, Hobart and Port Arthur. Not necessarily in that order, but you get my drift. We're looking at spending 4 weeks in Tassie and allowing 1 week either side for travel.

Glad to see that you're taking your time, most rush it and miss 90% of the place. I've been traveling around the state all of my life and I still haven't seen it all 8O
I know it's only a small place compared to WA. But I always try and allow plenty of time to see the main things. Even 4 eeks won't be enough. But should be relaxing enough to enjoy the places we see. If only I could work 6 weeks a year and travel the other 46, now that would be fun.
actually it just dawned on me that this would be a great oportunity for all of the interstate landy people to come to sydney to participate in next years land rover club expo, we might break a world record or something cool like that

typically it's the last weekend of july, but for the last 5yrs, that has been tree planting day, so we're trying to miss that by one week but havn't set the actual date yet.
