Years ago a mate of mine had one of these things. Brilliant bit of gear. We used to have lots of fun in it. With a set of home made wheel rims and some really fat tyres on it, was great fun on beaches / sand dunes. :D

I think they look great, I don't think this is ugly at all.

As in Beach vw beetle, bug?
Light vehicle with an air cooled engine over the rear driven wheels. Chunky tyres, crank up the ride height (they could) and you are away :) :)
