Thread: Has anyone bought a Jeeeeep

I dare say you're correct Chivalry, about the fuel light on the v8 vehicles However, the Disco's I refer to are all diesel - Tdi300. My son might wish for a V8!!

And the three v8 RRClassics I do have? Probably haven't driven them more than a kilometre total. And one of them is actually a 302 Ford v8 3 speed auto on gas - didn't look close enough when I bought it to realise the engine was different! One is destined for an Isuzu transplant. One for spares. One I might fix for the novelty of the V8.

My son did give one of the V8's a go in the paddock, but kids these days all seem to go for the short cut auto licence so he was a bit rough on the manual box - got it eventually.

Wonder what Ean's thinking now?

Thanks All for the reply's, I have tried to talk her out of a Jeep, only because there isn't much back up here in Darwin.

My advice is a Toyota or maybe Nissan or Holden as a back stop.

We live in the Toyota capital of Australia, and for someone who just wants to turn the key and when it needs anything done there is hundreds of places to take it, then Toyota is choice.

The car isn't for me , so it's her choice, I'm just trying to offer some advice. She is 24 yrs old so it's not her first car, so think she is looking at a late model / low km or even demo model.
