    Red Bull Racing Double

Firstly i want to say i am not a redbull racing racing fan at all although i have huge respect for Lowndes. Happy 40th birthday to Craig Lowndes for yesterday and well done to Whincup for breaking Peter Brock's pole position record.Yesterday's performance by redbull was total dominance.

It seems strange to think of Lowndes as 40 years old,it really doesn't seem that long ago a fresh faced kid with a big smile was setting the V8 supercar world on fire.I guess we will never really know how much Brock did to make him the driver he is today.

At age 40 he is still a world class driver who on his day is unbeatable. And the way he has time for the fans is awesome.

Some interesting strategies in play at the moment, 22 laps down, some tyre changes are diagonal or rears, BOC only did 3 out of 4 tyres on J B's car. Looks to be a great back end of the race

My wife and me were in the red bull corporate tent and loundsy had time for everyone even on his birthday, whincup did as well but not to the extent and easy of loundsy.

Things didn't go well on Sunday but he will bounce back that's for sure.

Whincup not fighting to keep 2nd with a few laps to go, just letting Van Guisberg past was boooed even by the Holden fans where we were . Seemed funny coming from the red bull corporate tent .

Yep less points gap between 2-3 than 1-2 so give up a place and hope the leader gets caught or taken out, some may say a good strategy, but not the racing I like to see.

Nah just a driver putting his position in the championship before the spirit of racing and winning or trying to win.

Don't reckon you would have seen brockie surrender like that.
