    When the local kids around here do that they refer to it as ditching and bailing. Big difference is they are driving a car that belongs to someone else - seems some times age does not bring wisdom.

    Wisdom being the correct use of knowledge, Kevin is fairly wise.
    He wasn't doing fishtails or hooning, just a short test run when the bonnet opened.
    Something similar has happened to all of us. Only difference is that there was a 1 meter deep drain involved. If you saw the locstion of the accident, you would applaud the lack of damage to driver and vehicle.
    Wisdom or lack of it wasn't a factor.
