Still seen in quantities on race tracks, so I am told, where they are known as a Grey Nurse.

I thought you just downloaded a picture of the note off the web and printed out as many as you wanted?

This is why the yanks started withdrawing the Grover Cleveland's ($1,000) from use. Note of choice for criminal transactions. Banks have to return any they take in to the central bank for destruction. A dealer could get several million $$$$ in a business man's attaché case. They are 0.10 mm thick and compressed and banded, an awful lot fit in a small space.

It really was a crap joke about ****.

Now without the crap, back on topic, with inflation there must soon be a demand for $500 notes? This thing about hoarding is irrelevant, that would have happened if the highest note was a 20...

Surely the reserve could just print more and stop whinging....

I hope this bloke finds himself (herself) homless on the streets when he is old.

I'd like to see his proof.
Personally, I think they're stuffed in the change jars and down the back of the couch cushions of banking managers and officials houses. At times, small change is not worth scrounging for.
