Depends what you call an irrigation pump.

Threaded fittings are usually BSP, and fittings like lump ends, nut and tails and hose joiners can be found at any good hardware. You may strike it lucky and find camlock fittings too.

Flanges are another story, and can be hit and miss.

It is a portable irrigation/transfer pump, the kind used on most farms.
Don't have manufacturer details, however the specs I have are

Suction Size: 2"
Discharge Size: 2"
Max. Head: 32mt
Max. Flow Rate: 600 L/min

I assume you mean good rural hardware? I have never seen these sort of fittings at any hardware here.

Petrol/diesel driven firefighter type of pump?

Do you know what brand the pump is, Davey? Any irrigation shop in a rural area would carry these, pretty sure places like bunnings do not. Plenty on eBay! Where are you located?

Yes it has a Yanmar L100 attached.

EDIT: I cannot see a name on the pump, and the invoice just says "high head pump"

It is probably chinese...

From memory you live in Perth. Go to Perth Irrigation's link, contact them or fill in their online form and they should see you right. I am a trained irrigation installer and used to teach the subject at TAFE. The first place I would look would be your closest major specialist irrigation supplier. Oh I have never dealt with Perth Irrigation so there are no links between the company and myself.

I've a camlock fitting on my 60mm intake & would recommend trying to get some as, with threaded connectors, you'll find that 99% will require thread taping & that gets pretty sucky, quickly if your connecting/disconnecting regularly.
