I think that's AJ in the Lightweight ?

The G4 would've had John Pearson from LRO magazine tagging along with him.

Have had the LandyTravels blog on my iPad for the last few weeks, has been a really interesting read, looks like they packed the 90 into a container back to the UK yesterday.

Can confirm John Pearson was in the group & the reason for the D1 being towed (only on 6 of the dunes ) was it only had rear wheel drive. Striped drive flange & front propshaft removed.

    Hi britswed,

How'd you go with managing fuel, distances u travel and calcs for litres/100k?

Borrowed my brothers bike couple times for trips round tassie years ago. After two trips around 3 weeks each on my lonesome came away with conclusion must plan in too much detail to do big trip with a bike.

Has much changed with the newer bikes? Sorry not land rover related.

    Thanks,
    Brett.
