May 2014 Birdsville/French Line Landies everywhere

I have done the Simpson a few times but NEVER seen so many Landies out there as this trip.

Crossing from Mt Dare on a KTM 640 mid May I must have seen 15 landies in different groups, fist group was lead by a G4 defender with about 5 cars in tow,the a few groups of a couple of cars then a few single travellers.

Upon Arrival in Birdsville was greeted by fellow OBC 2008 Pam & Dave white from Yorkshire in England and also the rest of these cars in the pics.

Great to see so many landies/Rangies out there

    mal

I was also in Birdsville that day. I pulled in behind you at he bakery just before you drove off.

I was in a silver Defender 110 and was also a bit surprised to see so many Land Rovers in the same place at the same time and not part of a single group.

I was there late May. When we got to Birdsville my wife said it was surprising that we had not seen another LR. Then 2 minutes later another 2 Defenders drove in from Big Red.
