    Rego - just another tax.

    2 choices:

    • understand and minimise what you pay
    • accept it is a tax, bend over, but still drive what you want to...

    Thankfully not relevant to older vehicles, although it will be interesting to see how "similar" old vs new vehicle registration prices will compare.

    It is reasons like this why I will never live in NSW. I have always thought from a car ownership point of view that NSW is the worst state.

    That is the real reason they are doing it,as always.

    Looks like for new vehicles only.

    Defender may be in trouble with it's ANCAP rating.

    I remember seeing this announced last week. Go to the RMS website The future of vehicle registration in NSW < Registration < Roads and Maritime Services and you'll find a link to the page.

    Mmm, maybe, but it just looks dodgey to me when another website uses Government logos on their site. Personally, I wouldn't give them my details.
