Those of us more savvy might remember a news item about one of the infected US medicos flown back to the States. Apparantly he was given a dose of some un-tried 'wonder' drug when he was going downhill fast.....and it had a very positive effect.... which makes it even more oDd that he then gets carted back to a research facility on US soil.

But Ebola, mortality at 50% to 90% is going to.......
Are we being alarmist, or panicking , over this Ebola outbreak. It was reported in the Courier mail that the thermal imaging scanners bought for the SARS outbreak, & placed in storage since, are still in storage .The report goes on to say " As part of routine procedures, incoming flights have on-board announcements, asking , I say again, asking passengers who are feeling unwell with fever chills or sweats to alert a crew member. " Am I the only one who sees a danger here, from a passenger, from some where with a grudge against Australia, being infected, & flying here. Alarmist? Did any one see 911 coming? Bob
