I'm on the north coast of WNBP at a place called Bialla, on Thur the volcano in Rabual cooked off, thats 100 km to the west, last night this earth quake about 100 km to the south.

The one to watch is about 40 km west of me , Mt Ulawun, 2300m about 400 m too tall and overdue to go off, and it comes straight out of the ocean, so could get messy real quick. Better buy some more beer.

The best shake we had here was an 8.2 in 1986, and everthing fell down

I have an interest in volcanos and note that there are 67 active buggers around PNG.

We can see 17 from the bar, but only 1 actively steaming away.

OHS required us to install a bell in case of eruption, I said I think we might notice without the bell.

Rambling boy you must get up here and get hands on.

Some activity in the area, for sure. Earthquakes in the Pacific region on the 7/23/24/29/ June, and 03/04 July. This link should tell you more, hopefully, Bob

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

Geez mate, I just had a butchers on G/Earth & you're within volcano spitting distance! Any aircraft at the 'drome? I'd be keeping one on standby! If the bell rings by itself does that signal a 'quake

Well the OHS folk did an evacuation drill last year, hopefully next time they will let the non Company people know it's only a drill.
