I'd like to opt-out of 2021 now, I'm not sure I can cope with any more loss.
Hi Brad. I understand the deep sense of loss that you are experiencing and nothing can ease that for you except time. But now is also the time to reflect on all the good times you have had with your furry mates. Look at your photos, reminisce and be happy for the time you had together. You made a difference to her life as she did to yours and that is important to remember.
On Friday I got back from my trip to the big smoke (to see the bloke who cut off my ear - all good). Picked my furry friend from "gaol" (kennels). While paying, I asked the lady how she behaved while I was away. The answer? "Have a listen, she's on the other side of that wall, and heard your car!"
Just opened the door and she was straight out next to the car waiting for me to open the door.
My youngest son and his now 12 yr old Koolie.
She has just been diagnosed with a brain tumour[bigsad]
Been a wonderfull companion for all those years.
She is on medication but it isn't looking good.

Yep, & he is a good boy.
Funny story how we got him.
One day he just started turning up at our place in Cloncurry, SWMBO asked about & found out he came from around the corner about 150m away.
She got the kids to take him home. Anyway he kept turning up at our place & SWMBO kept getting the kids to take him home.
After about 10 days of this the lady who owned him came around & asked if SWMBO wanted him, she took him on.
Next time I went down to the Curry SWMBO says "This is Rocky, he's going to Doomadgee with you!"
So, just like that, I have another dog!
Oh well.
