Does she like chewing your feet, computer bag, chair and kids beds as well? [biggrin]
Our Golden Lab (Long since gone) was the most destructive puppy we've ever had - chewed everything - gotta love 'em - but I didn't have a pair of shoes I could go out in after a few months. Got a pic somewhere of him hanging off the washing line with a towel in his mouth - just hanging there - not even struggling to try and get it off the line. [biggrin] Great dogs and family pets. [thumbsupbig]
Mika came after our Golden Ret Shadow died recently. Poor fellow was the only one of my family not to survive a car crash, Bike crash or similar. Happily I was with him holding him as he left. Put a tear or two in the eyes typing that.
Oddly Mika seem to mouth not chew on my toes like he did as a pup 14 years ago[biggrin] She is currently asleep on a teenagers toes while doing school work. A bit of a hit during ZOOM sessions at school[bigrolf]

My Vet nurse daughter & I took Pip for his last visit to the Vet's this morning . Since my last post a week ago he had developed multipool tumours on his chest & legs & the one on his foot had doubled in size after having a needle biopsy done on the one on his foot . It was so nice for my daughter to be there with me , I could never have done it by my self .
I would like to thanks those of you who helped me with my decision . Thank You.
Deepest condolences, but you know you've done the kindest thing.
Hard to believe the first pic was taken in late Feb

Just read about a destructive dog.. we let him rip into a cardboard box just now ( Covid boredom as he is rarely allowed inside)

Totally get that's the hardest thing to do , my old girl lasted nearly 16 years too , condolences to you, such a bastard they can't stay longer but then at what point do you say it's time to go? there would never be a good time .
I'm not ashamed to say I was broken for months after . I still think of her every day after nearly 9 years.
I now have another who is a cracker but getting on herself in years , and no doubt it'll be the hardest thing all over again , but would I change the good memories ...... not a chance coz they're the happiest moments too
Best you can do is love them and give them a great life I suppose , as short as that is.
Pic is the current girl and she doesn't really like port ( she'll knock a newby's beer over if they put it down and try to drink it though:-)

What is it with dogs and duck poo?[biggrin] Henry seemed quite put out when I washed him.
