Our Lab is going in for an ACL operation on Monday. We have to keep her immobilised for 6 weeks in a pen so no walks, toilet breaks on a lead (she wont go on a lead) followed by limited walks (20 minutes max) after 6 weeks until she's ok. She is going to go crazy. Our other Lab will be walked daily which will really torment her. She's such a sweet dog it's going to be tough putting her through this.
Starts at the gumtree down the fence line to the water 400 meter swim to left of picture along shore ****ing and sniffing for a few hundred meters then another swim to house at right of pic (fan club ) .He then heads up the road towards town till he turns right and sets off for the boat ramp then back along the shore till opposite home about 6k middle of second pic.Another 400 meter swim and 350 meters up the hill to home. Pity he can't ride a bike
Our 2yr old Kelpie would not go near water until we got him a PFD , now we can't go on the water without him.

My dog's view of water is "its something to drink, not to get in". Her limit is until her tummy touches - and she has short legs. Bath? No thanks!

We recently picked up a 2010 D4. Mainly so we can fit these two in the boot, so that we can fit our soon to arrive baby as well.
Am looking forward to going camping with a bigger car.
Just chillin’...

Same as the sons Koolie,it wouldn't go near the water until it was about 3yrs old.
She would even sit on the side of the creek and whimper looking at a ball floating along. Then the Springer would run straight past her, into the water and grab it.
Then all of a sudden, one day she was in,and has loved the water ever since.
