Keep an eye on 'Lily', JD. If it was the chocolate variety 'Delight', that's a fair bit of choccy for a dog to ingest.

My Son's Kooly ate a large chocolate cake about 5 yrs ago,not part of it,all of it.

They had just made the cake and left it on the kitchen bench with one of those fly screen things over it,and ducked out to the shops for an hour or so.

Off to the vet and she was given the shot to bring it all up,which seemed to do the trick.

My parents' Kelpie cross (inherited from my sister when she got married ), once scoffed a full box of Cadbury Roses from under the Christmas Tree. Each tasty morsel was wrapped in plastic, in a box covered in cellophane, before being wrapped in Christmas paper.
Without any Ill effect, Trixie managed to consume the entire contents, leaving only the packaging on the floor.
I wonder if that says something about Cadbury chocolate.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

No chocolate - the genuine stuff consisting of water, gelatine, sugar and a bit of flavouring. Doesn't seem to have had any ill effects.

"Wombat". Gone, but not forgotten. I used to think I was clever, teaching him to climb up the ladder and go down the slide... Until one day when i was on the roof fiddling with the TV aerial. Mutt could climb ladders, but did NOT enjoy being carried down.
