    "tell paypal to jam it"...
I was over Paypal years ago when they with held $4000 of mine for a sale thru Ebay! They decided that I might be laundering money, even tho the payment was linked to the sale of a Quad Bike on Ebay!! So yes, I 100% agree!! Tell Paypal to jam it! Happy to pay subscription fee into a bank acc set up solely for that purpose! Cheers!

I tend to be a bit slack in getting around to renewing things so auto renewal options work well for me.

But do what works best for you. I may need a few reminders about paying up though.

I hate big business making like hard for the little guy so if that's the case then ditch them.

I upgraded my subscription because it could be done monthly through paypal
and I wouldn't notice a small amount coming out monthly. If you have a way of doing the same without paypal I am all for it.

Purely as a buyer and not a vendor I find PayPal to be very convenient and I like only having my credit card details with one third party, I wouldn't be keen to set up with someone else.

I don't have the auto renew and I don't think I got a reminder and the only reason I knew mine had lapsed was when I saw the ads come back.

I would stop offering the auto renew, send an explanation to the list of those who have already set it up and beg their forgiveness and focus on making sure the reminders are sent when they lapse.

I would also be ok with doing a bank transfer into an account, but PayPal is way more convenient.

This system seems to work so why not just ditch the auto renew function.

I use the same system and I'm happy with it. But if you are copping crap, do what you have to, to decrease the angst.

Inc. You just tell us what works for you....

I'm sure 99% of us don't really mind how it's done and wouldn't want you having to jump through these hoops.

As a buyer.. Paypal is terrific.... as a vendor they are crud...

You wont need reminders, lack of space for everything and pop-up adds soon become very apparent with the lack of subcription

I avoid PayPal like the devil, prefer direct deposit. Not sure if you can make something pop up or avatars explode if subscription expires
