It was a bit tricky scattering his ashe's from the Auster (his wish) but its amazing what you can do with a lump of stormwater pipe, a couple off end cap's and a suitably arranged tear-off patch. None of this morbidly standing around a big hole intoning incantation's for him. Ill think of him now whenever I go fishing or flying.
As for attire, well, a pear off goggles and a clean flying jacket seemed to fit the bill...:)

I once had to release a blokes ashes from a Blackhawk helicopter after it had been washed. When they do a wash they spray CRC like stuff all over them to stop corrosion. I expressed my concerns but the officer was determined. Sometimes in the green you have to do as your told. We had this idiot officer, the poor widow and mother of the deceased who wore most of the ashes. I think the rest were all stuck to the side of the helicopter.
