Hi Guys
Got to do my good deed for fellow Landy pilots today.
I got a phonecall a friend who works at The Woolstation,saying there were a couple of people with a Landy with a broken fuel pump.I told her to send them around and I would see what I could do as the local mechanic is away"Gone Fishing"
The people called around,Canadian tourists in a V8 County borrowed from a friend in Perth.Turns out the electric fuel pump had died,and they were stranded at the roadhouse.
In true Landy help another Landy out in distress,I got them the electric fuelpump(a Facet suits up to 6 litre) and some fuel hose off "The Toy" and my auto-electric tool kit.1/2 hour later,they had it fitted and were on their way,VERY VERY RELIEVED to say the least!!!!!
I just told them to drop the pump off on their way back to Perth,I dont think I will have a problem with them doing a runner with my pump,they were so gratefull to get the problem fixed so quickly and easilly.
The County was really well setup,Brand new motor,tyres,also had a rear ARB air-locker,compressor and airbags inside the rear coils.

You shoulda asked them to drop the whole thing round on their way back to perth. You are a true good samaritin. Give yourself a pat on the back. Matt
