    Horrific crash in Melbourne's west.

Just on the news that there was a fatal crash involving a silver D2 with spotties on the front, hopefully its not one of our forum members.

That's really tragic, and seeing the Disco run over the top of the roof of the Falcon. I'm speechless

The video clip from the Chopper shows the D2 as if it was hit / T-boned on the passenger side and the D2's body has come away from it's front clip on the drivers side.

My sympathy to all those involved.

Yeah, that's a bad stretch of road. Although it says 'rural' at that time in the morning, the traffic is solid along there - usually moving at about 80 in a 100 zone so you get people pulling dangerous overtaking moves along there - I've almost been cleaned up myself in that spot.

The road is dead straight, but there is rarely a safe overtaking opportunity in the mornings or evenings along there. Not sure what caused this accident, but that would be my guess.

    just sad...

similar accident yesterday afternoon near me. An old lady moved across onto the wrong side of the road yesterday and wiped out an innocent man who was out of his car cleaning his windscreen! The man died instantly at the scene.

    Just tragic.

    Nasty Prang With A D2

Was a horrible accident(fatal) in Melbourne yesterday involving a D2.

Hopefully in is no one from here, although highly unlikely due to how unmodified it looks.(well not now but prior to the prang)

    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."
