Had a blitz here not long ago a bloke I know got pulled 4 times in a 20 mins on his trip home from work bit over the top
My Eldest son was breath tested 3 times in a 3/4 hour period. He was doing home deliveries for his part time job at a restuarant. Being local deliveries he had to pass the booze bus every time. The 2nd and 3rd test was done by the same cop. My son was going to ask the cop if he and his mates want to put in an order as he will be back shortly.

Probably just a "numbers" thing for the cops. They can go back and say they done x amount of breath tests on that shift. Yes, I've been breath tested 3 times in a couple of hours one night and when I said to the cop "this is the 3rd time I've been tested tonight", she said "yeah, and it may not be the last".
How do they know you haven't scoffed a few down since the last time you were stopped.....just saying......
Many many years ago, I was stopped 6 times in about 1/2 hour, I told the last officer that if they stopped me again that night I would lodge a complaint for harassment. I do not know if it was just luck or if it was the threat of harassment but I didn't get pulled over for the rest of the night despite driving through the blitz areas, they would go to pull me in and then see the car and then wave me around.
Although I used to get pulled over coming home at 5 am every Wednesday Thursday and Friday. It really p'd them off as I would be sober (just knocked off work) and would spot them "a mile off" and I would pull over and have my licence out and be waiting by the curb for them to pull up. The would always ask "did you spot us?"
I've got nothing to complain about being pulled over the statistics in our region show there are a lot of unlicenced and drunk drivers getting around, these turkeys need to be weeded out and taken off the road so I can feel a little safer driving knowing that I won't have contact with these turkeys.
If you have nothing to hide whats a couple of seconds inconvenience.
Had the same thing.
4 times in one night. I was doing security patrols at the time, and had to pass the same point & got waved in each time.
Another time, was the week before Christmas, and I was pulled over 3 times, in 3 different locations. I didn't mind, as I knew that i hadnt had a drink for about a week...![]()
Dont mind being breath tested but seems excessive. Most officers will wave you through if you are repeatedly pass through in short time frames. Especially in work vehicles.
