The company i used to work for in the early 2000's had some clients that made a touring car tragic like me very happy,We did work on SBR,888,DJR,and some work for Stoddart who had some very nice toys in his "shed".

As far as books are concerned, I've read plenty, particularly about Brock, with whom I was good friends with, for nearly 40 years,...plenty of things written about him in books, that were simply not true.
Don't know much about Dick. I don't think he would've sent a car to the US. The "workshop"?, no inside info. Yes, I did hear he lost heaps, but I did hear that one of the sticking points with the Penske deal was the fact that Dick wanted to keep the workshop/base whatever it is, I don't know. Maybe, the sticking point was that it was no longer his, to do a deal with Penske, I wouldn't know?

No mate i did not get any of the info from the web,it came from Auto Action,AMC magazines.I type the articles as they written in the magazines.I re-post them so others who don't read those magazines might find them interesting.

At no stage do i claim them to be my work,i post them as i know there is a few people on the forum that follow the V8 racing.Do i have the same knowledge as you and others on the forum about the V8 supercars ? no.

But at the same time this does not mean i am not a true fan.
