Thread: Black 110

At the moment I'm in the UK. on Holiday with the misses . We were traveling south down the M1 motorway the other day , heading towards London from Yorkshire . A Black 110 came up behind me , I was driving at 70 mph , not wanting to get hit with a speeding ticket . There are cameras everywhere . Anyway this 110 overtook us doing about 80 mph . I speed up to have a look , It was a late model , with full roof rack plus 4 spotty's , plus ladder , side steps snorkel , A bar plus 2 spot's . After about 10 miles this truck moved up to over 80 mph . At that point I let them go , within a few minutes It was way ahead of us , then gone . First is they drive faster on the roads here , and second I was impressed at the speed these Land Rovers go . When I mentioned this to my mate he said the police up there don't bother much on the motorways until you go over 80 mph . That's about 135 ks. Believe me there is so much more traffic on the main roads here , but the standard of driving is generally good cheers Jim ..

I have a friend here in Aust. that has a black 110 a 2013 model it came with side steps,and believe me 130+ comes up quite easily he drove to the Landrover gathering in Melrose SA last year to run it in, and is a very happy owner,it now sports ARB bar,and full roof rack with rear steps and Terrafirma rear corner protectors,the aircon works and the sound system is very good, and it doesn't leak yet! I think that he was looking at a set of T.I.Console LED head lights,and saw set in SA,but the cost here in Aust. is prohibitive here, so if you have a Defer or RRC I would suggest you purchase in UK.
