Just fitted an electric window to the passenger side as the navigator likes his head out the window. I think it would be easier to train him to use sepperate switches instead of one rocker tho :D

It's a pity you have to have these experiences on your own though. I'm sure it's hard to get a copilot when you mention they'll be eating dust, becoming deaf and eating tinned beef for dinner :D:wasntme:

I did not have any problem with dust in my Defe, just open the rear sliding windows and the dust will be out :p

I notice that a few of the AULRO members who don't own a vehicle that will maximise their outback experience are desperately trying to find ways to artificially enhance the experience. It still isn't the real thing.

I bet some of them are also impressed by silicone implants and may even prefer them to the real thing.

Ok it was a close fought tussle between the new age latte sipping Land a Rover owners and the Luddites in their old dusty rattlers, but as I was about the only one of the new brigade still fighting the honourable fight I have decided to concede defeat to you old buggers who are long time members of the flat earth society.

However yours is a hollow victory as without VNX205's excellent put downs that you lot could build off of you were gone, so without him you lot were stuffed and had definitely lost the argument. ... :p

But that said there are some good points and next time I'm in the desert and I hit some bulldust, I'll be sure to put the windows down so that I can really soak up the atmosphere of what the desert is all about. :D
