So this operation has resulted in 2 minor and one major charge.
While I have no problem in the constabulary stirring this lot up, the hype does not seem to match the charges laid.
Yep, the points you have made basically show that our legal/justice system is working the way we would have it.
The burden of proof is upon us to make any charges stick!
Problem is the radicals of this world do not play by the same rules thou they are highly adept at using & manipulating these very rules of ours against us.
As a fair and just nation we will continue to offer those less able a chance of a better life in our country, we will help house, feed & educate these people in the hope of assisting them towards a better life & future,as we should!
History has shown that our country can & will benefit from this initial generosity.
Unfortunately it is this very generosity & our legal/justice system that some radicals who have slipped through will continue to use against us & other country's that share our ethos.
We play by a very different set of rules to these people & unless we want to start using there game plan against them we will always be on the defence side.
Perhaps it has always been this way, perhaps it always will be.
Human nature???
To those who care I say keep up the good fight & protect those you love!
