    Thumbs up

BBBIIIGGG fan of Glenn Miller here. "In The Mood",...doesn't get much better than that, and John Payne is pretty cool on piano too.
Went to see the U.S. Glenn Miller tribute band in Melbourne recently,...excellent.
    Pickles.

back in 1968 I have the chance to see Gene Krupa, he was a virtuso.
To me one of the best performances was when he was together with Benny Goodman, Sing,Sing,Sing.

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Been speaking to the good wife, Arthur, [ as opposed to the bad one] I think we have a plan. Combining two interests, we fly to Argentina to watch the Wallabies play Argentina, hire a vehicle [ hopefully Land Rover], check out the country. Perhaps check out Ecuador, as well. Then the same in Africa, Japan, New Zealand, spend the kids inheritance They wont mind. I've been to Africa, Japan New Zealand, never been to South America. Have to pick your brains one day, over a red. BTW, we dance the Tango in Australia,

Its a funny thing Bob, Kruper and Rich introduced so much that modern drummers myself included take for granted. Those two clips hit that home in a big way. My drumming idols are guys from the 60's and 70's blokes like Nick Mason,Ringo Starr,John Densmore,Charlie Watts,John Bonham. But i think its time i start paying attention to the likes of Kruper and Rich and gain more of an understanding of the history of drum playing. Thanks for the clips Bob

Wow it has been years since I listened to the Andrews Sisters, or big band music for that matter! You've made a good day better, thanks for posting
