    You gotta love those tight three part harmonies,and if 'in the mood' doesn't make your feet tap i think you need to check your pulse. When it comes to jazz Miles Davis does it for me.

    What about that Gene Kruper. he cut his first record in 1927, and was the first drummer to incorporate the bass drum in a recording. He revolutionised drumming. Buddy Rich wasn't too bad , either. Bob

    Saw the Andrew Sisters and Buddy Rich at the Sydney stadium, must have been about 54-5.
    Also Judy Garland, Frank, Ella and Louis.
    In fact we never missed any show there during the 50's.
    Cant remember them all now but sometimes something jogs my memory.
