Not a cloud in sight this morning.
And now, total cloud cover.
It's ok check this out, Bob
Sydney Observatory will be streaming the Lunar Eclipse live at: www.sydneyobservatory.com.au
Possibly, Bob. Full cloud cover here in Western Sinney, too. I see the live coverage shows some of the moon.
gonna take a walk down t' beach
It was heavily overcast here until about 8:30.
It cleared just in time for the eclipse and now there isn't a cloud in the sky.
The same thing happened with the last eclipse. I had planned a moonlight paddle around Tuross Lake and it was heavily overcast and pitch black as we were unloading the kayaks. It cleared just as we put the kayaks on the water, so we had a clear view of the eclipse and great moonlight for the paddle.
For the benefit of those who are missing out, at 9:00, about 2/3 of the surface is in shadow.
I'm seeing it here- scattered cloud.
About 75% of eclipse at the moment
This is what it looked like about 10 minutes ago.
The quality of the image isn't great, but it is the best I can manage. My tripod is in the camper and the longest lens I have is a 200mm that was once fitted to a Pentax MX.
Pink Floyd knew what they were on about.
Cloudy here....:(
