    thats why i asked where hes from....if in the uk it will take two to three months before we get it in oz.
    also if not in oz fuel quality should be a lot better.

    If you're talking about the car you originally wrote about I'd reckon you need to get the price down - it's a bit inflated. You could also get a V8 for half that price in auto and you'd really enjoy a great drive. If towing - definitely an auto 300tdi. (Just as an example for price - I purchased a300tdi man 1998 for 10K but it did need some $ spent on timing belt etc).

    Make sure you have someone who knows about discos to come along with you.

    The Discos I 1998/99 are the best. get the basic model with no useless extras.
    My 1998 goes like a dream. Preventative maintenance is a must in any vehicle.
    If the Landy that you are looking does nor leak, do no touch it Have to be something wrong with it or the owner
