That is not the sort of discussion that I certainly have around the fireside.

If someone has an issue with something that might be discussed around a camp fire then by all means start a thread but put something in it about your views and why you think it is important - blitzing the forum with threads just comprising a couple of words and a link is not the way to do it.

It seems to me that these type of threads are either by Trolls or more often, just threads posted for the sake of posting things up.

I agree with TerryO - put them in the CA section.
That it is your point of view, mine is different I have learned to back up my views with references and articles by people or authorities that have the facts about it.
Just putting in place your views without facts will be wrong.
many times people including me start a thread that it is a continuation of a previous debated topic so the posting of an article is only to reiforce the point of view previously expressed.
I start thinking that if there is a troll is the one posted by you with the aim to start a negative discussion and sidetracking from the topic.
It is your right to refrain to read and or participate in this thread, exercise it

Yes I agree - that is what the forum is about - expressing views and opinions - and yes we often see things a bit differently and that is OK.

Now your getting personal and that is part of the reason we have the sealed sections - i am not trying to elicit excited comments - just expressing my view to what you posted - nothing more - not sure how it is sidetracking but if that is your thought so be it.

Your quite correct and I do, but if I want to read about Politics, Religion, Current Affairs etc I would go to a specific forum - not a 4wd and related issues forum.

I go on a number of other military, 4wd and camping forums and off topic discussions such as Politics, Religion, Current Affairs are deleted immediately on most of them.

    Cheers

Note, Terry, this fellow is not the type we should allow access to CA.
