I got 50 in past the deadline. They would work as the site said that voting was still open and I got thanked for the vote.

I put in a big one today. I set out trying for 1000 votes but as the deadline approached I was not going to make it.

But as I got in 50 after, I ended up with a tally of 1002.

Got my last in after 0.00 real time too, that's 18 x 49 and 1 x 55.
Just got another 51 in

Lets hope our efforts were not in vain. I wonder when we find out who wins and I wonder if we get the vote tally.

I managed only 150 yesterday but just now did another 50. My guess is that the ones after midnight won't be countered but it was worth a try. Great work by everyone here. I hope we are successful.

Looks like I'll have to start reading a book to fill in the time unless Digger's Mum gets nominated for another award... :)

According to the terms and conditions, the votes must be received before 0000 AEDT. They also say that results will be announced on the 11th of December. So we have a bit of a wait then. The recipient of the award may know before then, as they will probably have to make arrangements to get to Sydney Town Hall to accept it.
