Many of the outback and Darling downs councils loved the Aveling-Barford 6 wheel drive, 6 wheel steer graders with the big Leyland 680 or 690 engine. Bags of traction and bags of low speed grunt. Often the only vehicle that could move on the wet season black or red clay roads of the downs and western plains. They reckoned they would have kept on buying them if still available. Many a bogged vehicle was rescued by them.

Could your grader get itself out of here?

I assume he is using hoses attached to that other machine to provide hydraulic power.

Just get a 'Merican with a F650 with dual exhaust stacks. He'll pull it out.

    Or a steam engine.
