    Brisbane Motor Show

IMHO.....A pretty pi$$ weak effort by LR at the Brisbane motor show

    2 Discovery 3's and a TV screen........ that's all.

It's funny listening to people talk about it though.

    My favourite comment - What's this ........a Hummer ?

Well ..... it's up to you.

There wasn't much there in the way of new concepts, except for a new Torana - whoopdedoo

Everything else was pretty much like going to your local dealership.

The LR3 was interesting but seeing as they were the only Landys there, I'm not sure if its worth it.

Don't let me put you off though, if you were thinking of going.

You're allowed to crawl through it, under it over it etc etc.

You just have to line up with the other 57 people all trying to climb through it at the same time.

Hi adm333, I made a query earlier this week about going and was about to make the effort but if you are that impressed, I think I will not waste my time.
Also, my local LR dealer E-mail me doing the week to say they will have Disco3s in about two or three weeks and it won’t cost a cent.
If your interested in the new disco, try contacting your local dealer to find out when they will have them and see if you can arrange a test drive.
    Cheers

I didnt make it to the Syd motor show, did anyone go? How was land rovers effort there?

We were priviledged to spend the day with a D3 today and got to see it in action. A very impressive vehicle, went everywhere we did and with less effort, he didnt even use TR. Matt

    hmmmm,

sounds like LR made a bigger effort for the Sydney Motor Show than they have else where?!

    what 8O , they only had 2-3 Disco 3's at their stand 8O :? !!

At the Sydney Show, they had:
    2 x Disco 3's
    1 x Range Rover
    1 x Freelander
a fully stocked G4 Challenge Defender!

So, it certainly sounds like the Brisbane Show is lacking?!?

    What a shame  ..........

    Cheers

    Hummer :?: 8O Jeep 8O :?:

If that doesn't show that LR need to do so serious advertising, then nothing will.

Any good giveaways at the LR stand ?

I was going to go to the show tomorrow but now I don't know if I'll bother.

After all, I have no real interest in Peugots, Mitsubishis etc etc.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".
