I've had the priveledge of drinking red wine (in small, linearly increasing doses) from the age of six.

I was very surprised a year or so ago at the quality of a Lebanese shiraz from the Bekaah valley (sp ?) at avery swish Lebanese restaurant in Melby because I thought a neighbouring country had obliterated everything there some years previously.

Was so good I got another bottle to share.
