    Cheers Gaz

Probably never - they'll just put up with their expensive IFS failures but not start a Toyota-only forum to exchange information and advice.

After all, that would neccesitate talking to other Toyota drivers...
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

Never preobally!! Maybe the Disco 3 may change things but i think that without the support from the dealers it may be too late.

I thought the overlander forum was tojobitsmissingphuttra vehicles only!!! i will not join because of some of the hostility on the site. Loved it Vlad when you stirred them up about the D3 winning 4WD of the year.

I am the same as you Gaz, i joined, but before i knew what it was like, i surf that forum at work, only because i cant post on this one because of the DET's firewall. As soon as you mention you like land rovers, and simply express in interest in them, such as in your intro, you get bombarded with comments, like oh well you will learn, pitty about your choice of vehicle.

I have said it before, i will say it again, I dont like jap crap, never have never will, i have the odd joke but i still respect tha fact that people drive them and own them, its their choice and who am i to question it.

Vlad- you are right there, what is it, they just dont seem to get on aswell as us landy owners do, nor are they as nice as us. Matt

Come on guys they are not all that bad.....
i used to own a Troopy... Great old Bus, crap on Gas thou.

Toyo's are popular as there is heaps of them and they have a good standing in the community as they have been around since the 60's.

Sand Bruisers are LR only real opponent. PAG-E-Roo's arent up to it, ****an's are off the mark, have you read the website with all the patrol faults?? Just a few.... hundred...

Toyo's are not bad, the late 80's early 90's were the best. New ones are not as good, but the LR3 might end up being a problem also, there is lots that can go wrong.
I hope it wont, but as it is so electronic and so many features it has to fail in some way.
It has shown the rest of the 4WD world how to build a 4WD, but it has not been around long enough to prove it.

Simple things LR fail to fix until decades later should be looked at ASAP.
Transfer gear wear.... that shoulds have been a recall. All LR have it... well up untill 96 or when ever it was fixed...

But Toyos have problems as we know.... IFS.... and should we mention the other crap...

How often do we grab a std 4WD and change it to suit us. We all do if your not using it to take the kids to school.

But yep, Toyo guys dislike the LR's.......
i cop it constant from the 4wd monthly forum....
    But i love it...
