Why do Pirates have a Cornish accent

I'd like to see his list, there are others I know of, the one about how to treat women is interesting I must say.

I looked at a lot of tourist junk but that's what it was .....until I found a bookstore hidden in one of the fortresses at Puerto Rico of all places. In 1640 or there abouts , the pirates formed 'democratic confraternity' and their vows formed the 'Custom of the Brothers of the Coast'.....or the Pirates Creed of Ethics. There are 14 items in the creed and if there is interest here from forum members I will put one up each day. Could have some fun with this...... Dennis
