Arthur, can you cook a turkey, in this way. My brothers got one, thinking about cutting it in half, doing it that way. Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Yes, you can, but it would be good if you soak the turkey overnight on dry white wine and thyme.
The meat will be juice and tender.
The wine left in the container you can use it to keep the meat moist during cooking.
    Cheers

You should write a cook book, Arthur. I did a search of the garden, have all the fresh herbs growing, for the adobo, chili's on the bush, think I know where to find the Spanish paprika, JOBS ON ! Bob

Bob, how far you are from Woolloongabba, Qld 4102?
Will be a big sacrifice to go there if I telling you that there is a place where you will be spoiled for ingredients and smallgoods (including South American chorizos) ?
They used to sell meat as well, perhaps will be a good idea to call them and ask if you are interested.
Warring!!! that place it is not good for your back pocket and waist
Let me know and I pass the address to you

Please do, Arthur. I have a feeling I may have heard of the place, never been there, Bob

Gave Pennisi a ring, wife & I are going over tomorrow for a look, spoke to a young man, the boss, very passionate about his food. Next week they are getting in a container of Polish sausage, every 2nd Saturday of the month they have a sausage sizzle, where you can taste the various sausages, this could be my new favourite shop, Bob. Thanks for the heads up Arthur!

Try Fleming Jacobsen, the Danish butcher trading as Heinz Meats. His shop is in Stanley St. a couple of doors from the Clarence Corner pub. Wide range of in-house sausage and smoked meats plus usual butcher stock in trade. He also sells at the Danish Club market night, 4th. Friday of the month. I like his medister polser and Polish grillers (pork, bacon, cheese), definitely not kosher.
