Steve, do you remember the walk-a-thon for the pool?
Oops! I was thinking of the other "Crash Corner" on the western end of Anzac Ave,at Anzac & Deception Bay Rds.
I know the 5 mile (I still refer to it as that), but where the hell is the one mile? I'm only 40, but I also remember Wimpies (just). I also remember seeing old man Walker moving his cows.
Very fond memories of sitting on the hill at Dolphin Oval with my grandfather as very young lad watching Bunny Pearce carve them up ;)
Back onto the OT, anyone know how hard it is to reline the roof myself?
The lining come out easy enough - perhaps a bit of spray-on adhesive and the right fabric would be worth a shot? A few vids on Youtube also make it look straight-forward enough, particularly on a Defender where it's easy to pull out the ceiling.
