Ten Iconic British Cars.

While I would agree about a few of the ten, I can think of many cars that should have probably ousted some of those.

Just to name a few; Morris Minor, as suggested, Silver Ghost, Bullnose Morris, Austin 7, London Taxi (as mentioned), Landrover 80", Several model Riley, some of the other Wolsleys - the one suggested is one of the less memorable ones, several models of MG, particularly the TC, SS Jaguar, Several models of Daimler, the original Morgan three wheeler, Tiller steer Lanchester (four wheel brakes, independent suspension before WW1), Bentley pre the RR merger, etc etc.

All those listed except the mini are (very) expensive cars and should have something going for them.

The big Humber Super Snipes deserve a mention particularly the OHV model from the mid-50's. Roomy, fast, comfortable, simple, and reliable. Capable of returning astonishing average speeds on the goat track highways of rural Queensland of the times.

Having owned one for 32 years I wouldn't quite agree. Because half the car folds forward engine access is very good and access to most other bits is the same as any other car.

Like Landrover - you need to know where to get your parts and then parts pricing is not too bad. As with LR parts, importing from the UK is often easiest and cheapest.

Where's Alvis? A drop head TE 21 with the Graber body would be fabulous.
No AC? The AC Bristol was everything a British sports car should be.
And that brings me neatly to Lotus...

Maybe so, but only 2 of them are really applicable to the average person. There are so many more that could be added.
Rover P2, 3, 4, 5, 6 vehicles especially the P4105S.
Austin vehicles.
Morris vehicles.
Range Rovers.
Land Rovers in general Series, County, Defender.
Wolsleys.
Vauxhalls like Wyvern and Velox.
Hillmans.
The list could go on.
