Any servicemen/women in Tamworth in January, for the music festival

Just received this from the VVAA, might be of interest to some, Bob

    Hello
I am contacting you all to ask your assistance or advice please. As you may be aware I have written songs for the Vietnam Vets, namely "The Battle of Long Tan" and "The Battle of Coral".

I have produced a new CD with all of my Eleven previously recorded songs and now added 7 new tracks to a Compilation Album with 18 tracks. I have now covered the WW1 to Afghanistan for our boys. The Album is titled "They Answered The Call".

I am officially releasing the Album at Tamworth and doing a Tribute to the 100 Year Anniversary of the Anzacs. I have had 5 ladies hand knitting red poppies and there will be a display of Memorabilia of WW1 artefacts as well. It will truly be a wonderful night. How I'd like you to help is to let all your Vets know of the concert and I am happy to let them in at a discounted price of $10. All they have to do is to let us know they are ex-servicemen.

If you can give me a contact for the Ex-servicemen in Tamworth I would like to have a chat to him about the concert. It is at 7pm at the Tamworth Community Centre, Peel & Darling Street, on the 19th January 2015. All I want is a wonderful night with ex-servicemen there to be honoured in song.

Your advice and reply would be very much appreciated.
    Regards Graham

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

If we don't get any decent rain in the next few weeks the festival will be cancelled due to lack of water in Chaffey Dam.

Tamworth is on Level 4 restrictions at the moment and the storms of the past few days have put bugger all into the catchment.

That's no good, Numpty. I knew things were crook, but didn't realise how crook. Hope you get some rain out of the system coming across, Bob
