    Any USA friends able to help with shipping an order :)

    Just trying to order some items off Sperry Topsider as Christmas presents for my partner, and i placed an order through their website and was getting it shipped to the Australia Post mail forwarding centre in Portland Oregon. I then get an email this morning saying they cancelled the order due to not shipping to freight forwarding companies!!

    Are there any USA friends who may be able to assist in ordering and forwarding the order on to me as it was meant to be a Christmas present for my partner probably to late now but i would still like these items!

    Australian Post now has a service for buying stuff from America. Thissuggests it may be the same type of thing that has already stumped you. If it is, can you buy the item from another merchant. Or can you ring/email them and plead your case? I contacted a supplier in the states a couple of years ago, not really expecting too much, but found they replied promptly and were very helpful with getting me what I wanted. I supplied them with a credit card number of a bank they were familiar with. Citibank.

    Sadly thats where the problem lies it was all ordered and paid for to be sent to the Australia Post Shop Mate service the next day i get a cancellation email saying they will not ship to mail forwarding centres!! I have no idea why and was bloody ****ed up but it seems from many many google searches there is no where to buy the exact styles my partner wants even eBay and amazon no luck.

    I shall possibly try calling them in a couple of day.

    I have a contact in Washington I use for this purpose and he just forwards stuff to me. What sort of items are you buying? I can contact him and see if he will assist.

    Hi Mate that would be amazing i have a few items i would like to order through Sperry topsider, just 2 pairs of boat shoes and some boat shoe socks and thats it if you want to message me your email address i can send you the items that i was trying to order its about $280 aud all up. That would be awesome if you could please mate cheers.
