    PNG, our sultry neighbour

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

What happened to the Dim Dims?
When I was there that was what the Giant African Snail was called.
We tried to get Orly to eat them but they would not have a bar of it

It is a term for white people, most commonly used in Milne Bay province, and in Papua to a lesser extent.

    Sultry? , no, maybe Slattery
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

    I gathered that
I was Highlands, New Ireland then the last six years on Bougainville.
Do you know if we (expats/ Tourist) can get back to Bougainville yet?

Anyone going to Misima may run across the remains of my old 2 door under a house in Lagua. Probably an odd one one here who worked for Misima Mines???? If so? Bulin waiwaisana tiliu! (Good evening brother)

I worked on Bougainville in '76 and lived at Panguna. One of my jobs was working on the big turbine pumps down on the Jaba (I think from memory) River used to pump water up to the concentrator.
That was where I decided to give up my 70+ a day smoking habit....and haven't smoked since then.
Spent me money on beer instead.
