What car should Mario buy for me

Hi what car do you think Mario should buy for me.
I have always driven a Ford Falcon Wagon. Since they do not make the Ford falcon wagon anymore, I was looking at a Ford Modeo Wagon.
I now that a lot of them are diesel and not having diesel cars before.
Are they easy to do work on them as Mario will be doing all the work on it.
I have always like the wagon as a Discovery doesn't have the room in it for carrying thing. I know I am going to get a wrap over that . But when we have to get plaster etc my car is always uses.
    Thanks guys.

    Question

All depends what you are going to use it for, what is your budget, new or used etc etc, but a Mondeo would be well down on my list?

I would like a new or just one year old. We are getting sick of second hand cars, and getting done over by the seller.
I would be looking at 27+ for the car.
I do not want a 4 cylinder car.
Like the wagon because you always know where your back is.

I doubt that there will ever be a car to replace the Falcon wagon. A friend of mine bought an ex government BF wagon at auction last year, he had to pay top dollar though. At 40,000km it was like new. He loves it.

My first car was a XM wagon which I got from my dad after he past away some 31 years ago. Was that nice blue/green with the white roof.
And solid chrome bumper bars, manual and column shift. When you drive a car like that you know you are driving.

At the moment ****subishi tritons are going very cheap as a new model is coming Jan/Feb. A brand new glx 4x4 is $30,990 drive away(Add $1k for alloys). put on a hard top ute in plastic or fibre or framed with steel (if you want full length roof racks) to make it like a wagon and when you spill plaster etc. you can hose it out. You also get a 5 year/130,000k warranty.
If you had a larger budget I'd suggest a defender.

Was going to say a D3, but that's not 1 year old... a nice D4 SDV6 HSE will tow the boat easily and roof rails will carry lots of plaster...

    disco3

Heather, Grab a disco3 (at least parts will be cheap) and get a trailer if you need to carry anything to big to fit in the back.
