This is about the best product I've found too. I keep it in the fridge (much to SWMBO's annoyance). :angel:

Another big advantage with something like 401 is that you can re-use the bottle many times. I find that with the regular "super glues" in tube, once you have opened them, either the cap sticks on or the dispenser outlet blocks solid with glue, preventing further use unless you cut the tip off again.

I also like Soudal T Rex nearly sticks anything to everything especially for bigger jobs

There's a whole range of Loctite products that are all pretty similar. 406 is another that I've used - very similar to 401.

They now have one out simply called "Loctite Professional Superglue" which they claim to be the strongest on the market. Haven't tried that one yet, but will keep an eye out for it. :D

A relatively new product is Wurth glue. Good product taking a lot of sales from Sikaflex.

Did a google search and couldn't quite find the same product. I did find Gorilla Glue, however. Is it the same? What you are describing I could have some use for. I need to stick some timber to the aluminum body behind the speakers in my D1. The plastic interior bits are a little flimsy, so I wanted to make up a couple nice timber mounts....

I use the beer fridge. Keeps SWMBO happy. In my fridge you will find PVC solvent cement and glue for puncture repairs, amongst other things.

personally I use sikaflex for lots of jobs.....you can get it in about 20 different colours now and also in small tubes.

it is tenacious , never goes hard and requires a very small contact patch to do its job.

all the rides at the SE Qld theme parks are bonded with sikaflex.

Well considering that I bought SWMBO a flash new shiny silver fridge the other day - the old fridge has been demoted to "general drinks" and daughter's things, and the old "general drinks" fridge has now been demoted to beer fridge (out on the back verandah) - I think I'll take a leaf out of your book. :D

I use Loctite around the house. It has a great cap on it, and will glue MOST things together.
