Absolutely.

Unfortunate that some fail to recognise such a simplicity!

It's cheaper and better than news.com.au

Far better. That beer is so bad that the Mexicans won't drink it and most of the people who drink it here have to add lemon to kill the taste.

And to steer this back on topic...

Everyone has their own beer preference. If they find a drop that works for them they are happy to pay for it. So if "we" have found a drop (forum) that works for us, then it's reasonable to make a small yearly contribution to keep it fulfilling our needs.

Just like when a beer maker changes the recipe, there will be some who can't handle the change and go elsewhere. So be it. Others acquire the new taste, and the brand forges on.

DO NOT, however, keep drinking the beer, AND continue complaining about the flavour. Either get used to it, or change brands...
