Mate of mine had coins disappearing from the old Paj parked in the carport,next to his bedroom.

He ran a figure of eight to a 12V light next to his bed.

Caught the 10yr old kid from across the road:D

Hopefully ended the kids new career before it really got off the ground.......

That's not good, my pet hate is people who think they can avoid working hard for things by taking things that others have worked hard to buy.

What about this? Crimsafe security screens, security doors, security windows

It's made locally here in Bathurst, very good product, it can be fitted to selected windows so you could get it fitted to your mums bedroom window so she can safely leave the window open and keep the room cool.

Personally, I would never fit a product such as these. Sure, they make it difficult to get in, but just as difficult to get out in the event of a fire.

Sounds good, only problem is that you have to be awake to activate the button. These bastards also break in whilst your asleep, and if they are violent then it may be to late.

There are some battery powered window switches, (Reed switches) that you can install easily & cheaply.

They use a magnet to hold the contacts of a switch open, and if the magnet is moved, by opening the window, then the siren goes off.

This would allow her to have the window open a little to get the breeze in, but if it is opened further, the siren would sound.

Also good for sliding doors that you may want to leave ajar.
